Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Policy Update
As many of you are aware, the North Haledon Board of Education prohibits acts of harassment, intimidation, or bullying of a pupil. On April 11, 2011, Acting Commissioner of Education Christopher Cerf directed local school boards to revise their current bullying policy to reflect the new anti-bullying law which will be in effect for the 2011-2012 school year.
As such, the North Haledon Board of Education has updated their current HIB policy to ensure that all the necessary requirements are in place. I encourage you to review the attached policy.
