“Promoting Educational Excellence”

The North Haledon Education Foundation (NHEF) is an organization that raises funds to purchase educational materials and programs that are not within the standard North Haledon school budget.

The NHEF promotes educational excellence through the use of computers, SMART boards and accessories, leveled reading books, field trips and many other items.  This diverse approach to learning provided our students with the opportunity to experience a “complete” educational experience.

Each year, a grant process takes place. Teachers and/or parents can submit a grant application through the superintendent to be reviewed. Grants must be for the purchase of educational materials and/or programs only.   

To pay for these grants, the NHEF hosts several fundraisers each year.

• 50/50 Raffle
• Box Tops for Education
• Rock & Run for education (co-sponsored with the NHPTO)
• Vendor Night
• Casino Night
